Hayu tlu-peetch, meaning “tenth summer,” celebrates ten years of artistic practice by self-taught Nuu-chah-nulth artist Wilson.

Influenced by Patrick Amos and Art Thompson, Wilson brings Nuu-chah-nulth visual language into conversation with history, mythology, science, environmental issues, and contemporary culture. Featuring works from across his ten-year practice, the exhibition explores an artistic tradition that continues to grow through curiosity, experimentation, and new ideas.

On display September 24 to October 18, 2026, at the Cowichan Valley Museum.
