The Cowichan Valley Archives

Archives Hours of Operation

Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Visits to the Archives...

Visits to the archives are by appointment only, ensuring personalized access to our extensive collections.

We strive to respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible.

Archival Services

Image reproduction

Our archives offer high-quality image reproduction services, allowing researchers and community members to obtain copies of historic photographs from our collection for personal, educational, or research purposes.

Research Requests

Our volunteer archivists are available to assist with research requests, including obituaries, family history, and local records

Archival Donations

We gratefully accept donations of archival material such as photographs, newspapers, and family records. These contributions help preserve the Cowichan Valley’s rich history and ensure that local stories and legacies remain accessible for future generations.
